This year’s BGMC “Survive 5” Challenge will take place November 18-22 on Cumberland Mountain in Altamont, TN.  Pastor Russell Smith, our GA District KidMin Director, along with other pastors and children’s pastors/leaders from Georgia will be spending 5 days with limited supplies there in order to raise significant BGMC missions funds.

GA BGMC is partnering with FREE INTERNATIONAL (FREE International – Find Restore Embrace Empower) to raise funds in order provide equipment, training, resources, and survivor care to aid in the efforts against human trafficking here in the United States. The purpose of FREE INTERNATIONAL is to:

FIND - Searching, training, equipping and collaborating in the search for victims of human trafficking.

RESTORE - Restoring the lost through partnerships with national and local organizations, shelters and churches.

EMBRACE - Providing immediate needs to survivors such as food, clothing, transportation tickets, and hotel vouchers.

EMPOWER - Providing aftercare services that foster independence to help victims become survivors.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 for this project. Giving should be done through our district website www.gadistag.org in order to provide secure, accountable giving. When giving through our website, please go to “Giving” in the menu then mark your giving accordingly:
